This template was created with you in mind. I want you to look forward to see what income and expenses you can expect for the next year and plan towards them.

You may plan and realize that you need to find additional sources of income or even find you may need to reduce your expenses.

Your budget isn’t a rigid document, rather it’s a guideline to guide you. Ideally, your expenses should be automated so they’re much easier to track.

The budget template is very easy to use. Under the budget tab, you’ll only update the monthly amount. Under the actuals tab, you can update the cells on a monthly basis. I prefer to do this weekly so it’s easier and quicker to track, as opposed to waiting until the end of the month. Under the summary tab, you don’t need to add anything here – all the figures are automatically calculated for you.
